- Troubleshooting and Help Data. In case ScienceSoft is engaged in troubleshooting and help, we collect data about you and your hardware, software, and other details related to the incident. Such data includes the contact data, the content of your chats and other communications with ScienceSoft, the data about the condition of the machine and the application when the fault occurred and during diagnostics, and the system and registry data about software installations and hardware configurations.
Please note that you may sometimes include personal information we do not request—such as payment details—in the message section of our Contact Us form. We do not use this information for any purpose other than secure storage in our backup systems. For your own safety, please avoid sharing any personal data unless we specifically ask for it.
