RF Optimization & KPI analysis
An RF site survey conducted by Techno Services aims to acquire sufficient information to determine the amount and location of access points to ensure maximum coverage throughout the facility. RF site surveys are completed using the following steps:
- Get a list of the Nominal to be surveyed at the buyer's request. If the town is being surveyed for new surveys, where no nominals are supplied, we will survey the town and estimate the most suitable site.
- Utilize the template for the survey report that the customer sends
- Find the physical whereabouts of the nominal proposed and find 3 possible potential candidates (maximum) per nominal, based on the size of the search ring recommended by the customer
- Examine the site to determine RF suitableness
- Record Longitude and Latitude as well as the height of buildings and so on. of the candidates being considered
- Photographs of the site (360 degrees of panoramic view of the building or site elevation) for each candidate, as indicated on the survey template
- Estimate and give the necessary GSM Antenna dimensions and orientations. The proposed pole or tower site (s) will be noted with a sketch of the construction (rooftop) or the site for ground (for every candidate)
- Note the physical addresses of candidates as well as the site manager/owner contact information (where there is)
- Completion of your Site Survey Candidate evaluation report
